MISSION EDUCATION TEAMS
Flexible dates in 2025 — Belize
Flexible dates in 2025 — Dominican Republic
Experience and participate in the Lutheran Mission taking place in various countries in Latin America as you Spread the Gospel, Plant Lutheran Churches, and Show Mercy alongside missionaries and local leaders. We will strive to match your team members’ vocational skills and interests with different aspects of our work in that country. These are great opportunities for a congregation who wants to send a team!

2024-2025 Missionary Kid Program Teams
December 28, 2024 – January 5, 2025 — Taiwan
You will work with your team to prepare and lead a Vacation Bible School for missionary kids, ranging in age from infants to teens. We will provide a curriculum for you to use as a framework. There are also evening babysitting opportunities during 1-on-1 meetings and kid-free “date nights.” This is a great opportunity for individuals who want to serve.

Spring Break Mission Trip
March 8-15, 2025 — Czech Republic
Join missionaries Chelsea Irwin and Benjamin Helge in exploring the unique challenges and blessings that go hand in hand with missionary service. You will learn about and participate in all aspects of our work in the Czech Republic, as well as the life and work of various overseas missionary roles. Come and see how we spread the Gospel, plant Lutheran churches, and show mercy in Central Europe. This opportunity is tailor-made for college students to explore missionary service.

English Bible Camps
July 2-14, 2025 — Czech Republic
July 10-19, 2025 — Taiwan
July 24- August 2, 2025 — Taiwan
Share the Gospel with elementary and middle school aged children by partnering with a local Lutheran congregation to put on an English Bible Camp. This week-long event is similar to a VBS in the United States. Your team will be in charge of planning the English Bible Camp using the curriculum we provide. You will work with local church members to share the Gospel with the children that attend. This is an amazing opportunity for individuals who want to serve, as well as for a team that is already formed!

CONSTRUCTION/RENOVATION TEAMS
Church Upkeep — Dominican Republic
Seminary Facilities Maintenance — Dominican Republic
Parsonage Remodel — Panama
Urban Mission and Renovation — Panama

Support ongoing work in various countries of Latin America and the Caribbean by assisting with renovations and repair work. Projects will be assigned based on the team’s skills but may include painting, remodeling, landscaping, or building. These opportunities are for teams that are already formed.

CHILDREN’S MINISTRY TEAM
Flexible dates — Panama
Your team will work with the Lutheran mission in Panama to help with children’s ministry. You might plan and lead a Vacation Bible School; visit a local public school; provide Bible and English lesson support for the church’s after-school program; or put on a weeklong sports camp/VBS for youth ages ~12-16. (Note: e-sports are also popular, so PlayStation games are also a possibility.) This is a great opportunity for a congregation who wants to send a team.
