2025 Eurasia Missionary Kid Program Team — Bulgaria

Each year, our missionaries in Eurasia gather with their families for a retreat. This time of renewal incorporates worship, study, and fellowship. The adults participate in sessions specially designed for them. But it is also a real priority for us to care for the missionary children who live in Eurasia. Our goal for the kids’ program is twofold: having fun and nurturing their faith.

You will work with your team to prepare and lead a Vacation Bible School for 25-30 missionary kids, ranging in age from infants to teens. We will provide a curriculum for you to use as a framework. There are also evening babysitting opportunities during 1-on-1 meetings and date nights for the parents.

There will be plenty of opportunities to share the Gospel with the missionary kids. You will also support our ongoing efforts to plant Lutheran churches by caring for our missionary families so that they are refreshed for their work and ready to continue on. And you will show mercy by creating a space for community among the Eurasia Missionary kids to connect, have fellowship, and study God’s Word together during the Regional Retreat.

This is a great opportunity for a congregation who wants to send a team! It is also an excellent opportunity for individuals who want to serve.

Dates: August 3-8, 2025

Cost: $50/person (airfare not included)

Cost Includes: food, lodging, project costs, coordination and international medical insurance.
