Urban Mission Team: Painting and Refinishing — Panama

Help spread the Gospel by walking alongside Misión Los Andes as it provides Word and Sacrament to a growing group of people of all ages.

Help plant Lutheran churches by beautifying the mission’s physical space inside and out so as to draw in ever more people from the immediate community. The mission is situated in a high traffic location, so the church entrance is seen daily by many who do not know Jesus as their Savior.

Help show mercy by making Alliance missionary pastor Rev. Raphael Voigt‘s home more visibly welcoming to community members.

Your team will paint the interior and exterior of Misión Los Andes, as well as the exterior of the attached parsonage, and refinish the mission’s wooden doors and pews. Team members with experience painting/refinishing would be helpful. [A team with an electrician would be a tremendous added blessing!]

This is a great opportunity for a team that is already formed to serve.

Dates: flexible.

Cost: typically $120-$160/person/night (airfare not included)

Cost Includes: food, lodging, project costs, on-field transportation, coordination and international medical insurance.
