Communication Specialist — Africa

Right now, there is incredible work being done in Africa to spread the Gospel, plant Lutheran churches, and show mercy. But how can the LCMS know about this work, celebrate this work, pray for this work, if no one tells this story?

We are looking for a communication specialist to tell stories that will help our churches understand the amazing work of Christ’s mission in Africa.

Are you a natural storyteller? Do you have an eye for graphic design? Does the idea of embarking on an adventure to gather stories and pictures excite you? Want to avoid cubicle life?

LCMS International Mission is currently seeking to add a communication specialist to our regional Africa team. Jesus said in Matt 9: 37-38, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.”

Background & Characteristics of a Communication Specialist

✚ Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Affairs, Public Relations,
Journalism, or related field
