Once a year, the Latin America and Caribbean missionaries gather with their families for a conference. This time of renewal incorporates worship, study, and fellowship. During blocks of scheduled programming for adults, it’s important to care for the region’s many missionary children. The goal is twofold: having fun and nurturing their faith.
You will work with your team to prepare and lead a Vacation Bible School for approximately 50 missionary kids, ranging in age from infants to teens. We will provide a curriculum for you to use as a framework. There are also evening babysitting opportunities during 1-on-1 meetings and kid-free “date nights.”
Note: This year we are seeking at least 4 Spanish speakers to join this team; Portuguese would be helpful, as well.
Dates: August 5-10, 2024
Cost: $50/person (airfare not included)
Cost Includes: food, lodging, project costs, coordination and international medical insurance.
