Tell the story of what God is doing in Czech communities through local Czech Lutherans and LCMS volunteers! Serve as a reporter, writing articles that paint a picture of what happens at English Bible Camps throughout Czech Silesia. This year, the English Bible Camp theme is “Jesus Frees Us”.
During the event, you will be responsible for daily updating a blog especially for supporters and family members. After the English Bible Camps conclude, you will produce two articles. One will be a comprehensive story, sharing highlights of the entire event. And the other story will focus in on the experiences of one team or one volunteer.
As part of your preparation, you will be provided the LCMS Style Guide and other necessary protocol, tips, and other important and useful information. You will also have the opportunity to meet via video conferencing with LCMS Office of International Mission and Communications staff to understand specific priorities and goals for the project.
Dates: July 2-17, 2023
Cost: Approximately $550/person (airfare not included)
Cost Includes: food, lodging, project costs, coordination and international medical insurance.
Note: Please be prepared to submit a small portfolio of previous work upon request.
